Alka NGO was founded in 2022 with a simple but powerful belief — real change begins with values. The journey begins with one word “WHY”, with a few honest questions:
•Why do so many people lack access to education?
•Why do women continue to face harassment?
•Why do people forget respect, kindness, and responsibility?
•Why do people use negative words without a thought?
The answers led us to a deeper realization: something essential is missing in our society — values.
✨ Seeing this growing need, Dr. Pankaj Mittal started Alka with a vision to expandmore than just academic education.
The goal was to nurture awareness, character, and compassion so that people can live meaningful lives and build a better society.

Tree Plantation Drive
September 2024, we visited a local orphanage to create awareness about caring for the environment. Through simple, interactive discussions and a tree plantation drive, we helped children understand how small actions can make a big difference. Together, we planted saplings and planted values of responsibility, care, and hope for a greener future.

New Year
On January 2025, we visited a nearby local community area to celebrate the New Year with children and create moments of joy and togetherness. Around 30–35 children joined us for the celebration, filling the day with laughter, excitement, and smiles. The celebration concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, making the New Year truly special for the children and giving them a reason to celebrate the beginning of a new year with happiness. This initiative was a heartfelt effort to spread warmth, kindness, and hope, reinforcing our belief that even small acts of compassion can create meaningful impact and lasting memories.
Children's Day
November 2025, Children’s Day, we had the opportunity to visit a neighborhood community and spend time with the children. To make the day a little more special for them, I distributed reading books to encourage learning and imagination. Seeing their excitement and smiles was truly heart-warming and reminded me how small gestures can bring immense joy and meaning to young lives.

Cricket Tournament
In December 2025, Business Needs Inc. Proudly organized a cricket tournament in support of ALKA, with all the proceeds being donated to our foundation. The event received wonderful support from our partners as well; Riyu sponsored the jerseys for the tournament, while Harshu sponsored the food. The day was filled with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and teamwork, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

L.I.F.E — Learning Is For Everyone
At ALKA, we believe learning and values shape lives at every age. With this belief, our team and volunteers engaged with a neighbourhood community to spark awareness and purposeful thinking. Through meaningful conversations, we reinforced core values like respect, empathy, responsibility, and lifelong learning for both children and parents. This initiative reflects our commitment to building aware, value-driven communities where education becomes a way of life.
